Now Offering Integrative Medicine

Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine takes a whole-pet approach to wellness. We can combine complementary and alternative therapies with conventional western medicine. Patients are evaluated on the basis of their environment and lifestyle, disease, condition or pain score in combination with the results of their diagnostic modalities. Our integrative services include acupuncture (dry needling, electro-acupuncture and aqua-acupuncture), chiropractic manipulation, applied kinesiology, laser therapy, herbal therapy, and natural supplements. An integrative approach may be right for your pet if your pet suffers from a neurologic or degenerative condition, anxiety, advanced arthritis and or chronic pain.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is a field of health care that focuses on the preservation and health of the neuro-musculo-skeletal system. Animal Chiropractic offers non-surgical, drug-free approach for correcting bone, disc, and soft-tissue disorders related to improper spinal configuration and movement.  Chiropractic focuses on the restoration and preservation of heath by removing communication barriers and restoring normal function.  Broader benefits include superior immune function, healthier metabolism and a vibrant nervous system, facilitating your animal’s natural ability to heal.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a treatment that involves the stimulation of points, typically achieved through the insertion of specialized needles into the body. Acupuncture points typically lie along the body’s Meridian Channels along which Qi flows.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a safe and non-invasive pain management modality and greatly improve your pet’s quality of life by reducing inflammation, reduction in pain and speed the healing process by stimulating cellular repair and increase blood circulation. Post-surgical laser therapy can be included with each and every surgical procedure to speed up healing of dental extraction sites and incisions in no time. It helps with muscle recovery, wounds healing, gingivitis, vertebral disc issues, osteoarthritis, acute injuries, ear infections, open wounds and anal gland infections for your pets. It is safe, painless and has no side effects.
